Hey Jason, here is my CSX-T #284 (the rims are on backwards ;-). There is
a gallery where you can get the pics.

Let me know if you get them and I'll add a link from this site to yours
too.

Jason,

In a slightly different note, I'm the webmaster of Shelby-Dodge.com.?
We're trying to locate as many of the numbered Shelby's as possible.? Can
you email me some pictures of the one you found.? I'd like to be sure we
have it in the gallery and have recent pictures.

Thanks very much.

Gail

Jason,
To see the VIN on the block is a little tough but it's there on both the
block and transmission.

You will need to pull the air box and intercooler hoses off the car along
with the air box bracket. On the drivers side of the block, below the head
and above the transmission is a machined pad and it will have the last 8
or 9 digits of the VIN number of the car.

While everything is off the VIN is also stamped into the transmission case
on a raised pad, it will have the last 8 digits of the VIN there too. It's
between the right of the top forward transmission bolt and the shift cover
assembly.

Hello everyone, I am new here and need some help.
I just came across a 1987 Shelby Lancer. Seems to be all there. Right
wheels, center caps, dash plaque, Trunk emblem, and steering wheel. All
the doors, Hood, desk lid, and bumper covers have a little white Vin tag
sticker that match the vin number. But what I Need help with is how can I
tell if it is correct motor?, Correct dash plaque #?, and also is there a
way to Reorder a copy of the window sticker? The original Was in the glove
box with the owners manuals and Warranty card but it is so faded you can
not read or Make out the wording... Any help would be appreciated.
The vin # is 1B3BX68EXHN437351 if I need to post pics I can do so.

Right priced motors

Hi all,
I have put together more transmission items for everyone. Remember to
email me at mopar...@aol.com not PM or post to the add.

Rebuilt 525, 520 and 555 syncro assemblies. These have been disassembled,
washed and reassembled and have brand new Mopar brass syncros and a brand
new 5th gear hub and slider assembly. This is a very nice set. $175.00

525, 520, 555 transmission small parts kit consists of all the snap rings,
intermediate shaft thrust washers and pins, 5th gear nut for the '89 555
(not pictured) Oil slinger for the case, fill plug and shift fork pads
(Nice used 1/2 pads and new 3/4 & 5th pads) Everything you could need or
loose during a rebuild that you might never have a spare of. $75.00

523, 543, 568 transmission small parts kit consists of all snap rings, 5th
gear nut, all the roll pings for assembling the shift rails, interlock
pins, shift rail detent rollers and springs, shift fork pads (good used
1/2 & 5th and new 3rd gear pads for both the '90 and '91 & later
transmissions. This is a great kit with hard to find small items that you
might need. $125.00

Input shaft Shims. These are all Mopar shims and most are new. They range
in size from .028 to .059 with the majority of them in the .030 to .039
range. I can group them into sets of .002 or .003 increments if you like.
$5.00 ea shim.

Brand new 523, 543, 568 shift fork pads. These are the last of my new
pads. All 8 pieces are new from Mopar and include the 1/2, 5th pads and
both styles of the 3/4 pads for the '90 only and the '91 and later. I only
have three complete sets left and they are gone for ever. These have been
NS1 from Chrysler for years. $100.00

I still have good 555 intermediate shafts $50.00 each

Automatic transmission 4.7 Ratio Kickdown lever, $75.00 Shipped

Thanks,
Cliff Ramsdell
