Dear Sisters and brothers in Islam.
Sabr wa Shukr , an excellant article has the following paragraph which needs
clarification.
He is the King Who has no partner or associate, the One who has no rival, the
Self-Sufficient Master, Who has no son, the Most High, and there is none like
unto Him. Everything will perish save His face [al-Qasas28:88 interpretation of
the meaning], and everything will vanish except His sovereignty.
Allah(Subhana Wa Taala) will not be obeyed except by His permission, and He
will not be disobeyed except with His knowledge.
Face is an identity of a created object , Allah (swt) is not a created object ,
he cannot have a face , legs or hands, so either there is something wrong in
the translation or the interpretation, this is just like other hadis by Abu
Hurairah and found place in the Sahih Bukhari that " Allah created Adam in his
own Image" apparently an absurd statement and at the complaint of Jahannum of
its wast emptiness , HE (swt) put his one leg in , to fill the wastness , this
also shows as if HE could have erred in proper planning and to rectify His
mistake (nauz billah) he had to fill it up with his own massive leg . May Allah
save believers from such aqaid .
