As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,
Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (A.S.) said:
"When you commenced any supplications, begin with the recitation of Salawaat
on Mohammad(s.a.w.w.) as Salawat on Muhammad(s.a.w.w.) occupies the position
of accepted supplication near Allāh(s.w.t.). And Allāh(s.w.t.) never accepts
some supplication* and rejects the other "
