-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
It took a lot longer than planned, but it is finally here and we think it was worth the wait. The fact that the 0.14 LTS branch will continue to be supported for a while allows us to drop compatibility with older platforms, remove workarounds and the ugly code that goes with it. This new release also received more regression testing than any release before it. You can find a more details on the new features and changes here: http://xpra.org/trac/wiki/News#a0.15.0Release Here is quick summary of the most noteworthy changes: * the HTML5 client is now usable * printer forwarding is supported * NVENC: SDK version 4 and 5, including YUV444 and lossless mode * VP9 support: a free software alternative to x264 * Sound forwarding: more stable, more configurable * Remote client logging: centralizing the debug and error logging * more standards compliant window management * Python 3 support (still work in progress) * OSX build infrastructure work * Picture encoding improvements: faster re-striding, multi-regions, etc * start new commands from the system tray * an HTML version of the manual is bundled with the installers * fixed window grouping in the taskbar (MS Windows 7 onwards) * added unit tests, more regression testing * better logging and debugging tools As usual, if you find issues or regressions, please let us know. It is difficult to fix issues we don't know about!
