I'm running xpra 1.0.6 on Ubuntu 14.04. It had been working fine, but recently I've been unable to start the server.
I use "xpra start :10 --start-new-commands=yes" to start the server. My :10.log file ends with: Initializing built-in extension XFree86-DRI Initializing built-in extension DRI2 Loading extension GLX (EE) Fatal server error: (EE) xf86OpenConsole: Cannot open virtual console 8 (Permission denied) (EE) (EE) Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.x.org for help. Since this is a work machine, it is possible that a sys admin made a configuration change without me being aware of it though. I tried Googling the error message and found a couple suggestions for updating Xwrapper.config and changing permissions on /dev/tty8, but those didn't help. Any ideas? _______________________________________________ shifter-users mailing list shifter-users@lists.devloop.org.uk http://lists.devloop.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/shifter-users
