Ryanne, Here at Shimmer research we have just completed an updated version of the Shimmer 9DOF Calibration Application which provides for both full gyroscope and magnetometer calibration along with the existing accelerometer calibration. We are currently drafting the documentation/tutorial video which should be completed for the end of next week. This should provide the solution to your magnetometer calibration requirements.
