hi farrukh,
do an svn checkout of the tinyos googlecode repository, and work with
that. not only will you have current code/bugfixes, but you'll be able
to update the codebase as maintainers provide new code.
google "tinyos googlecode svn" for an explanation.

the reason i ask is that released code is really old; even the
looming 2.1.2 has been in the release process for...awhile. working
from the actively maintained version-controlled -main and -contrib
trees will keep you from having problems that may have been solved
long ago.
for example, in the current tinyos-main tree, under
support/sdk/c/blip the driver directory no longer exists...
