The corrupted signal shouldn't be caused by the Accelerometer. I would recommend taking a look at Section 3.2 of the Shimmer ECG User guide, which highlights how to acquire a high quality ECG signal. If the sensor remains in a rest position we can see the ECG waveform described in "ECG User Guide", but when we shake the sensor the depicted signal gets corrupted, something like if the movement in the sensor will be disturbing the ECG channels (it seems like the accelerometers signals are coupling to the ECG).
