Resolved for me by dynamically loading bcmath module within config.php:
if (!extension_loaded('bcmath')) {
$prefix = (PHP_SHLIB_SUFFIX === 'dll') ? 'php_' : '';
dl($prefix . 'bcmath.' . PHP_SHLIB_SUFFIX);
}
