a rather big adapter update. AbstractSocialEntityCollectionAdapter has so many
changes it's a replacement patch.
added collections and friends collections also added a lot of comments and
updated the AtomActivityTest to exercise the code. this code should be ready to
replace the old base adapter. I've taken over the routes for activities in the
provider. There should be a plaform here for building our hoisting rules if
they are to be done in the adapters.... Patch does not include the deletes for
the old activities adapter.
