shure... with APR the life is a lot easier!
I use it often for developing command line tools even if they don't
need to be binded to an apache module.
of course it depends from the project you are working on.... sometimes
it's better to write directly in assembly LOL   okay... this would be
a little extreme... but believe me, often an apache module made up of
a few lines can give you great power.. (think about static html files
which "magically" becomes semi-dynamic with extreme performances... )
