In opensocial 0.8 the js apis do allow you to fetch groups of people. Essentially you create a new IdSpec with the groupId set and pass that to a fetchPeople request. You can also use groups in the restful apis by requesting the url /people/<userId>/<groupId>. the groupid can be @self, @friends or the name of any group the social network supports.
I don't know much about the php side of shindig but I bet this is supported. On the java side the interfaces that containers implement already get passed in the group that was requested. So your implementation would just need to handle it. php is prob similar. Hope that helps. - Cassie On Mon, Jul 28, 2008 at 7:48 AM, Hans Granqvist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Disregarding the obvious fallacy of demanding a response from a volunteer- > driven mailing list (humility goes a long way), I think what you need to do > is > check how to call your container using makeRequest(), or possibly extend > your container's functionality and request it with hasFeature(). > > -Hans > > > On Mon, Jul 28, 2008 at 6:00 AM, Lini H - Clarion, India > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi > > > > Please someone reply for this.
