Hi all,

I was looking at the latest Shindig code and the latest spec, there is something called the GroupId which I am a bit confused. I would like to confirm what is the meaning of a group. 1. It is not really the normal group concept where multiple people join a group, which that group has its own identity, is it? Sounds like groups are centralized around a particular user, you have to relate the group with a particular user to know who are the people we are referring to.
2. Is there a default group that each user belongs to?
3. Assuming (1) is true, I assume the relationship has directions, meaning a user say Doe defines a group called friends and included Jane as his friend, Jane does not necessarily has a group called friends which include Doe. User defines what the groups they want to set up and how they want to organize their contacts 4. Where are groups being setup? Is this outside of Shindig implementation or the specifications and each containers should implement it themselves?

 Thanks.
Sincerely,
Anthony
