Did you take a look at this file:

It helped me when I was getting started.
Can't really help you on the eclipse side. I roll with vim ;)

Second, I tried to configure the maven in my eclipse ide (Europa),
but maven
does not get installed, says emf.wst plugins required.
I tried hard but could not get this plugin. I installed emf feature
but it
does not have this plugin. I got a jar (may be ) for wst plugin but
when i
placed it in plugins dir and restarts the eclipse, it does not get
loaded.
