Is anyone supporting URL gadgets, especially with gadgets.* features?

I'd like to know if anyone is actively supporting URL gadgets to access
some of the gadgets.* features. Especially features like dynamic-height?
 
I've hit some issues in doing that within the (minimally) documented
framework.
