Dan,
I can only take a fraction of the credit, it was a team effort by both
committers and members on list and behind the scenes. Still very good
to get it out there, and as you say a huge milestone. And, we must not
forget the community who after all contributed so much to this release.

Ian,
Wonderful job getting this out there (your persistence was key).
This is a huge milestone for Shindig (and OpenSocial).

Apache Shindig is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache
Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator
project. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects
until a further review indicates that the infrastructure,
communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a
manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While
incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the
completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the
project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
