Gadget server fails to run in OSX

The gadget server fails to run on OS X, with a message about not being able to
load 'features/features.xml'.
Attached are the build and run logs.
This is happening on svn revision 707829
The same version runs OK on Linux/Debian, and a version of the server with
local modifications and packaged for a different servlet container runs without
problems, too.
