Ian, any idea when you might be looking at this? I don't want to add
any more pressure, but would be great if we could have an inkling on
when this might be resolved :)
Also, if you let me know when you start, I can update the patch with
whatever the current revision of shindig will be, since at the
moment you are likely to get conflicts.

The samples implementation of PersonService, ActivityService and
AppDataService are not fully functional as yet.
For example, PersonServiceDb.getPeople() is still addressing null
query constants, and ActivityServiceDb.createActivity() and
ActivityServiceDb.getActivities() are empty (i.e. returning null).
