Hi, the directory "archives" was missing - the error message in brokerd.log was quite clear ;) But The real problem was that we couldn't find status.dat and objects.cache! After creating the "archives" directory these two files magically appeared... I had shinken running for a day without this directory so there was a nagios.log from yesterday that couldn't be copied. I will try to reproduce the bug tomorrow, we will see.
PS.: I also don't think that both things have to do with each other, but the fact that fixing one fixed the other was strange.
