Hi,
Yes, this function (so the SimpleLog module) was just to implement Nagios
behavior taht do not rotate archives (can be good for creating reports in
the old CGI for example).
We can add it, but it should be disable by default (or set to a really high
value I think) to do not make change for Nagios users :)
