Hi all,
Thanks to Sébastien Coavoux, we now got a way to have in the same NDO
database Shinken and Nagios instances. Before this patch, the module was
using internal Shinken instance_id instead of looking at what was inserted
in the database. It's a perfect way for pure Shinken database, so we don't
have past instance in it, even if we rename an instance.
But when we mixed with Nagios, ndo2db was inserting in database with the
next instance_id if it was not present (and so got ghost data if you rename
an instance...) and Shinken was overwriting nagios instances.
Now you can set synchronise_database_id to 1 in the NDO/Mysql module, it
will use the nagios behavior (and so you will have to clean old instances
of course). By default it's disabled.
So good mix, and thanks again to Sébastien for this patch :)
