I'm working for Eyepea, an Open Source VoIP system integrator.
We've made a monitoring agent to make passive checks with NSCA and
Nagios-plugins, with the help of Jean Gabès.

In the near future, we'll have the WS-Shinken support to cache checks if
the connection is broken between the agent and the server.
