i would say just abstract it out so it is pluggable then it the user
is free to choose. the implementation in jsecurity was tied to
ehcache and wasnt very flexible in overriding.

I think it might be a good idea to include support for TerraCotta as a
support module for caching.
TerraCotta is licensed under the TPL, which is a very slightly
modified version of the Mozilla Public License 1.1. Per their
Licensing FAQ [1], the TPL is the "Mozilla Public License, version
1.1, with a few minor changes to make it specific to Terracotta,
including an attribution requirement."
Does anyone know if the MPL is compatible with Apache 2.0? I thought
it was a BSD derivative, and therefore might be.
Please advise.
Thanks!
