I kind of liked the effect on my peculiar app when the r605 widgets hovered over a scrolling area after resizing ;^) Yes, I saw it's was a bug and even happier you fixed before I had to describe it. Kudo's!
I'm happy to report that r608 works even better for me in Ubuntu 8.04. r605 in XP has some timing/expose/refresh issues for me (I need to move a Windows window in front and then off of the shoes window to get the somethings shown (they were drawn, just not triggered or jiggered for update). If I had to guess, my script with it's show/hide calls on a stack of a para didn't do whatever Windows incantation is needed to update the children. Thanks _why. I like Shoes although I struggle to understand it. --Cecil On Fri, 2008-05-23 at 00:36 -0500, _why wrote: > Fixed a very important bug in the new GTK code.
