The PLT Scheme guys have a nice solution to this - you can file a bug and configure that to send a mail to the list, then for followups you can send a mail to the list and cc the bug tracker, which will pick up on the bug number in the title and append the mail to the bug's audit trail. Something to look at in the long term, perhaps. martin
