Okay, getting back to this, I discovered require bug in the vying gem that I fixed (bumping the version number from 0.7.2 to 0.7.3). I don't see how it should be related to the gem not loading, but I reinstalled Shoes on Vista, and now the gems sort of loaded for me. My install was hung up on the 0.7.2 version of vying, though. So, I released a new version of the breakthrough.shy that simply tells shoes that it wants version 0.7.3. You can get the new shy at the shoebox. I was able to get the new shy to run on Vista, but the app itself wasn't exactly redrawing the board correctly (like it is on Linux). My Shoes install may still be screwed up, so I'd appreciate it if someone could try the updated shy. Thanks, Eric
