If it helps at all, it appears that the RTEST(actual) line in
shoes_edit_line_draw is never true on OS X. I haven't investigated
further, yet.
(I'm a little lacking in knowledge about how to put out debugging
messages from here. printf and rb_p seem to go off somewhere I can't
find, and fprintf(stderr..) similar. And hooking gdb up to process, I
can't figure out how to make rb_p(rb_inspect()) work there. It's a sorry
lot I've got in the way of brains. Ah, there's probably a way to wrint
to the console.. hum)
