Knowing it was low in your priority list, I've started tinkering with cut and paste in shoes for mac some time ago, but due to my erratic presence I never got things done... Since I quit my previous job and I'm job hunting, today I had some time and I went to check back the code, but it's so different, why, it so hard to keep the pace with you! :) Talking about Edit boxes, today I found you already wrote NSPasteboard support, which previously was not there. I tried it and it works indeed, we just have to put the correct keyboard bindings. As for textblocks, I agree with all of you. Dropping Pango could be a good idea for this kind of behaviour, but maybe there will be more native stuff looming behind the corner to deal with. But hey, the only one who knows the innards of Shoes is you. Well, even if I was not able to put some of my work on cut&paste at least now I know more of shoes's inner gears ;)
