Hi Seth, look here :) http://twitter.com/onigiri/statuses/952418191 that was on Debian though: I had to dist-upgrade it to testing in order to run either the compiled shoes or the github one. Hmm, how did it behave for you afterward? Crashy? Or somewhat worky but > weirdy? Did not work at all, but I have to redact what I said about gems: Shoes.setup on Debian worked flawlessly (I tried to rule out a major bug) but on my iBook things were broken. I spent the last 2 nights figuring out the code and I am confident I will be able to post some notes and patches either this evening or tomorrow! now I am at a consultancy gig, so I just passed by to show you the twitter status :) Emanuel
