Menus not working with r1057

[Laurent Julliard]

I have just installed r1057 on my Linux Ubuntu 8.04 laptop and I have 
gone through all the samples. It occurs that the menu sample doesn't 
work (blank window opening). Is this a Linux only problem ? Is the 
problem known ?
