_why, I don't know if it has been suggested before, but why don't you
move this ML into a google group. People could subscribe/unsubscribe
whenever they wanted, you still had full control. It may even become
public and let the content be available to anyone.
The downside is helping Google keeping its monopoly of web search and
content, but since I like their service, I can live with that.
