I'm trying to install Shoes on a little distro known as Puppy Linux. I'm
in the process of designing m' own Puppy variant that will incorporate
Tiddlywiki and Shoes as the main development platforms. All three of the
projects sort of seem to fit together in my mind, and I'm trying to take
the minimalist/web inspired approach to this Puppy based distro.
To get Shoes set up I decided I would just run the shoes.run and each
time it asked for a lib, locate it on the 'net, convert its containing
package (usually RPM) to tgz, then convert that to pet (native puppy
install file) and then install.
I would then run the run, and be presented with a new lib to hunt and
kill. This grew rather tedious and I became lost when it started
complaining about strange things. I could replicate these errors if needed.
The problem is, all I need is these libraries. Does anyone happen to
have a list of libs shoes requires stored somewhere?
