On the mac, I believe you can copy and paste in text fields with the
right click menu, just not the keyboard shortcuts.
If you wanted to try to do more yourself, the "clipboard" method is
available.
But no, there's no copying/pasting from the various para/heading
objects, nor even selecting text on them (though you could hack
together some kind of copy functionality yourself using "clipboard"
and some widget or keystroke or other to trigger it...)
