Hi,
Alt-/ brings up the console OK for me on kubuntu 9.04 and worked OK on
openSUSE 11.0. Perhaps Mint and/or the Windows Manager (KDE, Gnome?) has
re-assigned that key pairing for some reason. I'm sure a quick Google
will show you how to change/remove it so that Shoes can use it.
