Hi, I am Manan .I am an undergrad in my second year at IIT Madras,India .I am extremely interested in Machine Learning and would like to contribute to Shogun during the summer through GSOC.I am comfortable with C++ ,Matlab ,and a bit of Python .
To get involved I have started looking in the Shogun source code and would like to get started by solving the clustering (kmeans) issue #2987 .I have made some changes in the way centroids are randomly initialized and would like to generate a pull request .I want to ask if this is good idea to start .Any advice regarding my pull request would be really helpful as this is my first one on Shogun.
