Hello everyone, my name is Ariane and I will be working on the Easy Installation on Major Platforms project.
The easy installation on major platforms project provides an overhaul of the Shogun installation process on several platforms. This will allow new users to install and therefore use Shogun easily, without having to do many manual steps. Shogun will be easy and fast to use on many different platforms. Users inexperienced with configuration, but interested in starting to use Shogun quickly, will have the chance to start using Shogun fast and most importantly hassle-free. This will allow a quick and easy start for users to explore the world of Machine Learning. Furtheremore, the project will provide updated installation packages for major Linux platforms, Mac and also Windows, including the configuration and creation of nightly build using Shogun’s buildbot configuration.
