We had a *Coordination Meeting* at the Simon’s Foundation Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Astrophysics in New York, NY. During this meeting, we hashed out *changes to the way we handle our affiliate packages* including establishing a new category, “Astropy Coordinated Packages”. We also made big pushes on the next Astropy paper and our next big functionality: *spectroscopy*! There were two days in NYC dedicated to documentation and tutorials where we formulated a new vision for *how to increase the discoverability of examples* and developed a framework for keeping track of all the educational materials <https://numfocus.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c4bde6125a526b0fe180fdc3d&id=cfba6b36c5&e=800206b069> . We also held our first ever dedicated *Tutorial Sprint*!
