Bud,

The club is 47" in length. The player has a "cut-fade" swing and hits his drives about 225-230 with a 45" driver, good trajectory with R flex and a 10 offset head. I used a soft R shaft, which at that length tends to hit the ball a little higher with the low-flex face Integra heads (like the Integra IV and Slice-killer). If I had used an Integra S450, I would have gone to 10, if I had used a Bang SRV II, I would have gone even more. The player's swing, club length, shaft flex and head cg location all seem to contribute to trajectory height, in addition to loft. I hit the 9 Slice-killer considerably higher than my 9, 47" Bang SRV II, and a little higher than my 10, 48" S450.

Bernie..

Was wondering.. why the 9 deg.  for a senior.. any reason you didn't opt for the 10.5 model....

Bud,

I built a 9 at 47" club length with a Graman TP440 R for a senior friend who refuses to play anything except an offset head a couple of months ago. I hit it a few times and it went high and straight. Seemed like a typical Integra driver head...good performer, good price, not anything fancy.
