ShopTalk: Asain Ping's

I've never owned a set of Ping irons but have an opportunity to pick up a set of Eye2+ at a great price.  This set was apparently bought in Asia and Ping is unable to give me any information regarding them- so- might anyone know if the Ping irons for the Asian market are different in anyway from the US counterparts?  The owner say there are NO serial numbers on the hosels, which I found puzzling. The shafts bands say JZ with Asia on the back and patent pending covering Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea. No indication of them being Reg or Stiff-   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you Steve P.
