The last time I did this, the foam added about 10 grams, which is 5
swingweight points. That was a long time ago, when driver heads were about
200cc. The added weight should be proportional to the volume, and heads are
bigger today.

Good luck!

I am planning on re-shafting my 9° KZG driver. I like this club, but hate
the sound.
I recall some time ago that there was a thread about foaming metal woods to
cut
down the annoying sound, but don't remember the details. What should I use
to
fill the head? While the shaft is out, can I fill the head through the
hosel? How will
the added weight affect the performance of the finished club? Sorry to bring
up past
history, but my memory isn't what it used to be (my wife says "What
memory?").TIA

Jim
