It's OK, TFlan,

After 35 years writing advertising and having it proofread, I kind of miss
being jibed about a misspelling. Once, I did an ad for the University of
Tennessee Evening School that had a misspelled word in the headline. Went
through three proofings and nobody saw it before it went into the newspaper.
Talk about embarrassing... Found out early in my career that there seems to
be no way you can catch them all...even with computers. Actually, I had a
secretary for a few of those years who never seemed to miss a one. She was
lots better than a computer spellchecker. Caught most of my grammatical and
word usage (like assure and insure) mistakes as well. Wish she was still
around to check my shaft cutting measurements...

If I could just pronounce the damnable French in my mind, I'd get it right.
"Vwa-la" is tough for an old man raised in a Pennsylvania German
environment. :-)
