I had no idea until I went to buy a headcover for the clone - and then noticed it when they were side by side. I think you need a headcover for the golfcomplus head because of the painted face and "balls". The finish quality is average but not bad. They hold an advantage if you like shorter putters or wanted to make a long or belly putter because of the weight. I am still switching back and forth with the Odyssey depending whether I want to go heavy or light.
