Rich--

In fact, I have built several sets of experimental clubs and have asked for, and received, comment from the forum.  Believe Tom Wishon was helpful.  Tom's reply may have been through personal mail.

I'll withhold my red pen, Rich.  Who did you get to proof this piece?  Hire someone else.

I can write you a filter if your delete key sticks at the sight of my name.

John,

Is there a possible means by which Mr. CMR may be removed from this newsgroup? At the present moment I am not aware of any filter that AOL provides which will allow me to exclude his posts. In the past we had similar issues with Lloyd Hackman. Bless Lloyd's heart, at least Lloyd was attempting to make a point concerned with, or at least contributing to, clubmaking and clubfitting. The only partially amusing aspect of these threads is that while other respondents keep requesting Mr. CMR to desist he persists by critiquing their grammar and punctuation and then ends by stating "give it up" as though there is some sort of competition occurring. I may be in error in stating that I don't believe Mr. Rae has ever contributed anything to this forum regarding clubmaking or clubfitting and if he has, then I apologize. It would be far more appropriate to keep members who do contribute to the heart of our subject matter whilst still allowing for the occasional stray comment. Is thi! s possible?
