Nice idea for single clubs. Several weeks ago there were lots of posts about my "hot box" which does the same thing except I can pack it with 48 irons at a time. Running at 135 - 145 degrees cure time is about 1.5 hours. Thus, we assembled 200 iron sets in a five day period last week. Felt like the Dunkin' Doughnut baker, "Time to make the doughnuts!" The idea is sound. Check for drips of epoxy. And a tip to avoid them is to wipe the OUTSIDE of the hosel with machine oil (motor oil, 3-in-one or other) that way if a drip occurs you can peel it off since the surface was contaminated.
To those who think an oven is not worthwhile I would add that it allows for fantastic customer service. We reshafted a set of irons at 10 A.M. this morning and customer just picked them up at 3:10 P.M. Local Golfsmith store told him they would be ready in 6 days. They just lost a customer! Without a "hot box' we couldn't say "your clubs will be ready tomorrow." I guess it all depends on what you want your "business" to be!
Thanks to all who helped with my print out problem on the 2002 OEM Shaft Chart. With all the suggestions, I was still unsuccessful Thanks for the help though! One of the guys on the forum faxed a copy to me. Some days I feel that all this high tech computer stuff isn't worth a damn! But, how would I ever have met such a nice bunch of people? Hope my spelling and grammar is acceptable:-).
