Couldn't sleep, I felt so bad about getting ticked off. Here's the deal. I was watching the Emmy's on Sunday and found out those actresses use double sided tape to hold up those slinky dresses and was thinking about starting a new catalog company selling colored masking tape to match the dresses... My wife also works for the largest tape manufacturer in the world and I was thinking about buying a decent quantity of this stuff to include as a freebie with my grips and didn't want to waste my cash if, as it sounds like, it's basically a medium for sliding the grip on the shaft. Also wanted to compare notes if a bunch of high priced dudes from her company started selling me a line of BS on tape. It does sound like super cheapo is a pain to use and a bit of an upgrade might be worthwhile but not to expect "EXTRA 50 YARDS GUARANTEED WITH NEW NON CONFORMING GRIP TAPE".
