Brian, I have played the TC-01's in a 3-5i mixed set with MC-01 blades for 6-PW. I never cared for the TC-01's personally. The finish in the cavity marked up very quickly leaving them less than desirable looking very quickly. I never felt they were forgiving and they often seemed harsh to me. I actually liked the MC-01 blades better and ended replacing the TC-01's with the blades! I liked the FC-01's much better than the TC-01's, but prefer the Acer's over them as well.
Compared to the TC-01's, I think you will find the Acers, much more forgiving, yet no too big, softer feeling, easier to hit, and are a very nice looking head as well. The Snake Eyes heads will likely have tighter tolerances and the weight port adds flexibility for the clubmaker, but I would recommend the Acer's for the golfer, based on my experience.
