In the plumbing supply section of a good hardware store or Home Depot purchase a PVC "coupler (used to join 2 lengths of PVC pipe) the size marked on one end edge is 3/4" it is 2" long. Find the PVC pipe that slides inside the coupler (inside diameter of pipe is 3/4"). Cement a 2" section of the pipe inside the coupler (this increases the wall thickness of the resulting coupler to approximately 1/4". That's it!
