Subject: ShopTalk: PGA Merchandise Expo Show and ST Open
Well the 50th PGA Merchandise show is cloe approaching (60 days and coutning) as well as the 5th Annual ST Open.
www.pgamerchandiseshow.com
The dates this year are Jan 23rd through 26th. If you have not already registered, you can do so by following the link above to Register Now. I know that some of us have already received our badges.
Historically, we have met at the PCS booth at predetermined times so that we could meet each other as well as arrange show activities. I will keep track of attendees this year as well as ST open participants. This will be handled through email as I do not foresee the time to create a web page for this purpose (plus the email seemed to be more favorable to most of you).
I have already had a few people suggest that we hold the ST Open in the AM on Saturday, Jan 25th this year, so that will be the date. I will start researching courses for us. This year we will have a signup deadline as well as "flight preference" deadline. That deadline will be Saturday, Jan 18th.
I am asking for someone to setup and take a leadership role (read as I will not have time to be a part in this) regarding door prizes and donations. My real job has me quite busy and traveling right up to the 1st day of the show.
If you are interested in meeting others at the PGA Show and/or in playing in the ST Open, please email me in private.
I look forward to seeing everyone this year.
Mark
