What a shame! I was fortunate not to have hit my ball into the Road Hole Bunker when I played "The Old Course," but I went back and played it later just to see what it was like. I was thrilled to get out in but 3 blows. Playing The Old is without doubt the highlight of my golfing life, and having had the opportunity to at least try a shot from the Road Hole Bunker contributed greatly to that experience. The Scots of yore must be turning over in their graves.
