The tour model is 35" long iron head (5 iron) , weighs 40 ounces.
Here's how to build one:
Tools required, bench grinder, sandpaper, primer and paint.
Obtain from your local steel supplier a 34" long 9/16" diameter section of round steel bar (hot rolled or cold rolled - cold rolled is smoother). A 5 iron head that does not require a ferrule and a grip (trainer or otherwise).
Measure the depth of the hosel, mark that on one end of the steel bar and grind down the diameter of the shaft until it fits the hosel (GRIND DOWN ONLY TO THE DEPTH MARK).
Sand the shaft till smooth, prime and paint.
Epoxy head on shaft, install the grip after some build up since 9/16" = .5625"
NEVER HIT GOLF BALLS WITH THIS DEVICE!
Build several since the steel bar comes in 20 foot lengths and each 20 footer will yield 7 trainers.

If you are lazy you can omit the head (not needed) build on 5/8" diameter round bar stock, cover lengthwise with 2" colored vinyl tape, cover gap with 3/4" vinyl tape in contrasting color and cap the head end with a vinyl or rubber 5/8" "leg tip" (hardware store $1.59 for 4 pieces). Lower cost (no head) , less work (no grinding), works the same way. TOTAL COST ABOUT $5 EACH.  Sell for $29.99 each marked down from $49.99 VS $79.99 for Momentous.

Send me $4 for each one you build!
